Solitaire Games

Solitaire Games has been around for decades. The basic idea of a Solitaire game is that you try to eliminate all the tiles without letting any of them reach the winning tile. There are many variations of Solitaire. Here is a short list of popular variations:

English. Most modern solitaire games are played using a version of the English game of Solitaire. Solitaire is played using a single deck of 52 cards. Most standard Solitaire uses just one 52 card deck. The object of the game is to build up and then release, from your starting hand, certain cards to form piles of cards, in suit and sequence, to form a base for the rest of the game.

French. One of the most popular solitaire games that has a traditional look to it is the game known as French Solitaire. You build a foundation stack of cards by taking turns. Then, at the end of the game, you must add up all of your completed foundation stacks to make your score. Solitaire players can choose to play in the same fashion that they would for a game of 21, but instead of building their own stack of cards, they must compare their hand against the starting hand of another player on their tableau columns.

American. As the name would imply, American solitaire games involve a game played with a single deck of 52 cards. Players take turns and place their card hands face down on the tableau. They may then use the white, black, red or any other card from their discard pile to move cards from their starting field to any of the four card decks on the tableau. If at any time a player moves cards out of their starting stack, they must replace the card with another from their discard pile.

Online solitaire games. There are many online solitaire games available for players to play. If you are looking for a game that requires little to no skill to play, online solitaire can be a great game to play. Most online games are variations of classic games where the goal is to eliminate all of the cards before your opponent does. Because the cards are eliminated digitally rather than through manual count, this makes online solitaire games a lot more convenient than playing the traditional game where you would have to count cards yourself.

Golf. Many people are intimidated by playing golf because they do not know what suits are and what colors their clubs are. Fortunately, there are several solitaire games that are based on classic golf games where you will need to determine the suit and color of your clubs before you place your starting hand. In many of these games, the object is to get your club into the hole on the correct foundation stacks.

Monopoly. Although this game has been around for almost as long as cards have, it is one of the most popular solitaire games in the world. You will be able to keep buying property and buy properties to add to your property empire when you are well on your way to being the richest person on the board.

Seven Piles. This game requires that you spread out your cards face down, then try playing the seven piles. By simply laying your cards on top of the seven piles in order from ace to king, you will form the seven piles that will represent points on the board. You will try to play the seven piles again and try knocking off the jokers, ranging from Ace to King, all the way to Ace.
